We are now going to run through the Easter break!

Knitting 101 - from the start to socks!

Ready to knit?

These classes and friendly and informal.

Everyone learns at their own pace so whether you want to tackle socks, learn to knit in the round or start at the very beginning, these classes are for you!

Held at Cedar Farms in Lancashire (L40 3SY) classes are on Tuesday afternoons from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.

Your 6 classes are based on attendance so if you need to miss a week (life happens) that’s ok, the 6 classes are valid for one year.

Simply pick whether you would like materials provided or if you would like to bring your own (yarn and needles are available to purchase if you change your mind).

 

Knitting - taster session

Want to learn to knit but not sure if it's for you?

Stuck on a project and would like some one off help?

These one off taster sessions are perfect - simply book with materials to receive a knitting starter kit or without and bring your project!

For your fist time knitting we will cover the basics of tying a slip knot, casting on, Knit, Purl and casting off.

Held at Cedar Farms in Lancashire (L40 3SY) sessions are on Tuesday afternoons from 1:30pm to 4:30pm, simply book and I will contact you to confirm which Tuesday you would like to attend.

 


Workshops

Tea Cosy workshop - 22nd July at The Create Escape, Milnthorpe, Cumbria.

Join accredited knitting teacher Su Melville for a wonderful day designing and knitting your bespoke Tea Cosy!

During this workshop we look at how to create a pattern to fit the unique shape of your tea pot – you can use the same methods to alter garment patterns to create the best fit!

We will also look at some finishing techniques and build confidence in your skills as a knitter.

Remember to bring along your favourite Teapot as everything else will be provided in a fabulous knitting kit for you to keep,

This workshop is suitable for confident beginners – you will need to be able to cast on, knit (purling is optional!), basic increase/decrease and cast off.

While you relax, learn and enjoy your workshop, Angela and Debs will ensure that you are very well looked after indeed. Included in the workshop:

Morning coffee/tea with home-made treats on arrival.

A delicious two-course lunch with wine.

Non-stop tea and coffee during the day, with home-made cake and scones in the afternoon.

You certainly won’t go hungry!

Places are limited so booking early is advised.
